French Cheese and Chive Bread

My weakness in Europe were the bakeries and all the different varieties of breads and sweet rolls you could buy. Crusty bread, croissants, baguettes, pastries, fruit bread, cheese bread, I just love bread which isn’t necessarily good for my waistline, but it’s delicious. This bread is called a cake in France, cake salé, salé meaning savory and it's a great appetizer with drinks or toasted with butter when it's a day or two old.
