French Chocolate Mousse

This is a very popular French dessert and I just can't get enough of it. We had some friends over for dinner and I served this chocolate mousse for dessert. They were already full and just wanted a little sample but after they tasted their sample they went for the whole serving. Yes, it is that delicious, light and fluffy. It's by far my favorite chocolate mousse.

Chocolate pieces
1 c
Mini marshmallows
Eggs (seperated)
1 c
Heavy cream
1 ds


1. In a microwave safe bowl, melt chocolate, stirring occasionally
2. Stir in marshmallows until melted
3. Whip eggs whites until stiff
4. Whip cream until stiff
5. Stir in egg yolks to chocolate and marshmallows
6. Fold in whipped egg whites, stiff cream and peppermint
7. Chill for 2 hour in the fridge
